Particulary on this Day of Boxing, so often filled with bargain sales, shopping and consumption (or just laying about, digesting yesterday’s turkey), it is good to step back and reflect on the role of ”stuff” in our world & in our lives ... Where does it come from? Where does it go? Why do we need it?

A few things to remember:
1. Your fancy (or semi-fancy) clothes - we're going all dressed up!
Ladies, please consult the database for a complete selection of available outfits & accessories

2. A gift: a house-warming bucket for Micah House guests
- When guests move out of Micah House and into their first home, Micah House tries to send them with some start-up supplies, such as a broom, cleaning products, kitchen supplies, etc. Please put together a 'housewarming kit' (or part of one & pair up with a friend), put it in a mop bucket and bring it with you on Monday - leave them in your cars & we'll gather them all up at the end of the evening to bring to Micah House before Christmas.

3. Your canned food pledges for Gary.
He may need to borrow a truck!

What a great night at City Kidz! I can't belive we wrapped all of those gifts ... and neither could they! This weekend, City Kidz will welcome thousands of children to their Christmas programs where they will each receive one of these gifts!

This Monday, we're going to City Kidz!


Each year, City Kidz runs a Christmas program for kids in the downtown core of Hamilton, and they have thousands of donated gifts that need to be wrapped. Quarry is going to help!

We'll be meeting at Rob & Lisa's at 6:00 for carpooling from Burlington, or at City Kidz at 6:30. If you can't make it then, join us at City Kidz when you're available! City Kidz is at 177 Sherman Ave North (in the Playhouse Theatre, just north of Barton Street - you'll find it on mapquest)
