God is faithful. Even when we're stupid.

It was good to share our experiences of God's faithfulness last night.

God's faithfulness is sometimes easy to see, and other times not so much.
By looking back and remembering God's steadfast faithfulness and love for us we can often find faith for the future.

God is faithful.

This is the God of Moses and Abraham.
The God of Sarah. Rachel. James and Paul.
The God of Rebecca. Nathan. Dave. Lindsay. Gary. Lisa and Alicia.
The God of Michal. Josh and Timothy.

God has always been God. God will always be God.

Rest.

a new campaign

Make Poverty History. We've all seen the ads, and those fashionable (?) plastic wristbands ... which some would suggest are just another accessory for the growing movement of 'slacktivism' (btw, I do like this word ... 'slacktivism' ... it really captures our passive attempts at 'making a difference'. I wear a bracelet, and then what? so what?)

So, it's time for a new campaign - Make Affluence History. Not poverty - affluence. Can we really tackle poverty without first addressing our own affluence and greed? How tightly are the two linked together?
